Our Route
Pre - dock logistics
Amsterdam’s origins as a trading city were built around logistics: goods arriving by ship, stored in warehouses along the canals, and distributed across Europe. That logic still holds today. STRADA’s shareholders have long invested in these former warehouse locations, building a substantial residential real estate portfolio and investing over €800 million in Amsterdam. In parallel, they expanded into modern logistics and industrial real estate — the contemporary evolution of those historic trading assets. This natural progression ultimately shaped STRADA, which continues this route by investing in next-generation logistics and light industrial properties.

Following the route
STRADA started its investment activities in existing light industrial and logistics assets in the Greater Amsterdam area, among others in Almere. From there, the portfolio expanded through acquisitions in Westpoort, followed by growth into Brabant, Limburg, and eventually Central Netherlands, with a continued focus on value-add opportunities.
Developments
STRADA initially focused on acquiring existing light industrial properties. Over time, the company expanded its activities to include the direct acquisition of industrial and logistics development sites. Starting in the Greater Amsterdam area, with acquisitions ranging from Westpoort to Schiphol, STRADA later grew its footprint across Central and Southern Netherlands. Through this combined investment approach, STRADA has built extensive experience in sourcing, acquiring, and developing industrial and logistics assets.
